Cross de la Sablière is a muddy cross-country race in Viroflay, organized by USMV. The program includes eight races for children and adults, with distances ranging from 1 km to 11.1 km.
The shorter races accommodate young runners, while the 6.2 km and 11.1 km courses offer a challenging cross-country experience for older participants. The mud is a key feature of the event, contributing to its appeal. A past edition saw 1,800 participants. Local associations Les Dunes d'espoir and Les Bouchons d'espoir participate annually. Timing is managed by Oxybol, medical support is provided by FFSS92-ASMV, and the Viroflay town hall assists. The race is in its 44th edition and is planning for its 50th anniversary.
