Dix'Vonne

Dix'Vonne is a 12 km nature race held in Divonne-les-Bains, located in the Ain department of France, close to the Jura mountains and the Swiss border. Taking place in early June, it is now known as RunÔLac, having previously been called La Dix'vonne Run. The event focuses on trail running and Nordic walking, differing from a standard road race, and includes children’s and junior races in addition to the main 12 km distance. The initial route began and ended near the eco-district planned for the future train station, then ascended towards Monts Mussy and Mourex. The highest point offered views of the Alps and the Jura. Early years saw variations in the race format, including a more challenging 12 km trail, a 25 km option with 800 m of elevation gain, and shorter children’s races of 500 m, 1000 m, and 1500 m. Nordic walking was introduced later, and a portion of the registration fees supports a local charity.
