The Duathlon de Liffré Cormier, a run-bike-run race weekend, is held at the Nelson-Paillou stadium in Liffré. The event centers on duathlon: participants run, then cycle, then run again. Over 1,000 athletes are anticipated throughout the weekend, with approximately 60 clubs participating. These clubs include representation from Rennes, Rouen, Les Sables-Vendée, and Pontivy.
The weekend features multiple events. An animathlon, a free, unranked children's activity for ages 7 to 10, precedes the Brittany regional duathlon championship. A free duathlon hike offers a relaxed introduction to the sport for newcomers and local residents. The schedule also includes the youth French championship semi-finals, with races divided by age group and gender; about 15 to 20 top finishers from each race advance to the French championships.
