The Duathlon de Muret uses a run-bike-run format for all ages, mirroring the adult course: a short run, a cycling leg, and a final run. This event takes place in Muret, Occitanie, near Toulouse, and is organized by A.S. Muret Triathlon. The event includes various formats, from youth categories (mini poussins, poussins, pupilles, benjamins, and minimes) to open and cadet-junior S-distance races.
The shortest race involves 250 m running, 1 km cycling, and 250 m running. The pupilles category completes 500 m, 2 km, and 500 m. Benjamins and minimes compete in the XS distance: 2.5 km running, 10 km cycling, and 1.25 km running. The open S race and the cadet-junior S race share the S distance: 5 km running, 20 km cycling, and 2.5 km running. Participant limits are 200 for the S races and 50 for the youngest age groups. Muret station is located a few kilometers from the event site, offering train access alongside car travel.
