Entre Ciel et Mer is a 12.32 km trail race in Hyères, on the Var coast of southern France, with its next edition scheduled for early November. The name translates to “Between Sky and Sea,” and the race embraces this concept: a seaside run encouraging participants to ascend, survey the coastline, and “touch the sky” instead of pursuing a fast road time.
The route showcases various parts of Hyères via Mediterranean trails. Hospitaliers Toulon Athlétisme organizes the race, supported by the Var committee, R Running, the town of Hyères, and the Var department. It also serves a distinct charitable cause, with proceeds directed to polyhandicap research through Les Bougainvilliers de l’hôpital de San Salvadour.
