The Entre Vignes et Marais is a 10 km race held in Braud-et-Saint-Louis, located in the Haute Gironde region of southwest France. It takes place in the spring. The challenge is kept manageable: the course features only 30 meters of elevation gain, making it suitable for regular runners, joggers, and trail runners seeking a brief off-road effort rather than a mountain challenge.
The name translates to “Between Vineyards and Marshes,” and the course reflects this by crossing wine-growing and wetland areas characteristic of this part of Gironde. Braud Athletic Club established and manages the race. The participant field is primarily local but competitive, with close to 500 runners in a recent running and winning times near the 32-minute mark for men and the 42-minute mark for women.
