Explor'run Saint-Trojan - Saint Trojan Les Bains 2026

Explor'run Saint-Trojan is a Christmas trail-running event held in Saint-Trojan-les-Bains, located on the southern tip of Île d'Oléron. All races commence on Boulevard de la Plage. The event features three primary trail distances: 30 km with 300 m of elevation gain, 20 km with 200 m, and 8.5 km with 60 m. Additionally, children's races of 700 m and 1500 m are included, ensuring the day caters to more than just adult trail runners. The courses traverse the unique local landscape of Saint-Trojan, incorporating Pointe de Gatseau, the state forest, village paths, the beach, Belle Époque villas, and the small fishing port. The longer races are intended for adults, with the short trail accessible to runners aged 16 and older. Although this is only the second edition, it already possesses a distinct seasonal character: participants are invited to wear costumes, and mulled wine is offered at the finish line.
