Eynavay'Trail is a trail event held in early February in Rochefort-du-Gard, located in the Gard region of Occitanie, southern France. The races are entirely off-road, utilizing garrigue paths, trails, and single tracks instead of paved surfaces. The event offers several options: a short introductory trail of approximately 8 to 8.6 km, the main Eynavay'Trail covering about 20 to 21 km with roughly 550 m of elevation gain, the 35 km Magnum'Trail featuring 950 m of climbing, and an 8 km fast walk.
The courses traverse the forest of Rochefort and the plain of Tavel, presenting terrain with Mediterranean scrub, woodland, and open local countryside. The shorter route is designed for novice trail runners, while the longer races provide increased climbing and technical sections for experienced trail runners. The ninth edition of the event attracted 840 participants, with 45 individuals joining for course reconnaissance. The organizers and volunteers prioritize minimizing environmental impact, encouraging runners and their companions to adopt an eco-responsible approach.
