Fête du trail is a trail-running festival held in Saint-Jeoire, Haute-Savoie, on the first Saturday of September. Les Trailers du Môle organize the event, offering four main mountain races and children’s races. Adult distances range from the 13 km Verti'Trail with 1,100 m of climbing to the 80 km Saint-Jeoire race with 6,000 m of climbing; even the shortest option is steep by road-running standards.
The routes go into the Haute-Savoie mountains, with views toward Mont Blanc, the Fiz range, the Aravis, the Chablais, and Lake Geneva. The other main races are Deux Massifs, a 34 km route with 3,100 m of elevation gain, and Mystère, a 25 km route with 1,500 m of gain. All four adult races carry ITRA and UTMB Index ratings and follow FFA standards, making the festival useful for runners collecting recognized trail results and for locals seeking a challenging day out near Saint-Jeoire. Children’s races run from 300 m to 4.6 km, adding a family aspect to the event alongside the significant climbs.
