Foulées d'Eole is a local running event in Elouges, within the Dour municipality of Hainaut. The start and finish are located at Rue Charles Wantiez, by the École Communale. Participants can choose between approximately 5 km and 11 km races, with the shorter course following a portion of the longer route. The event also features a non-timed walk and a canicross, welcoming runners, walkers, and runner-dog teams, not exclusively road racers.
The longer course incorporates both roads and paths, offering varied terrain and changes in pace rather than a single, monotonous loop. The organizer describes the route as open and airy, aligning with the "Eole" name and its setting on the rural outskirts. SLC DOUR ASBL is the organizer, and Chronolap manages the timing. Participants will find essential amenities on-site, including bib pickup on race day, refreshments, showers, parking, and changing rooms. The event is also part of the Les Belles du Haut-Pays et du Val de Sambre challenge, connecting it with other local races.
