The Foulées Dainvilloises is a two-day race weekend in Dainville, typically held on the first weekend of April. Sunday features a 5 km road race, a 10 km road race, and a 23 km trail race. Saturday offers walking routes ranging from 5 km to a 22 km option. The event has attracted up to 1,400 participants, including free children’s races of 100 m, 500 m, and 1,000 m, adding a family dimension.
The road races begin simultaneously on Sunday morning, while the trail race starts earlier and has a 2 hour 40 minute time limit. Walkers can select shorter routes suitable for families or longer 18 km and 22 km courses that include additional refreshment points. The Dainville Athlétic Club, in conjunction with the Commune of Dainville and approximately one hundred volunteers, organizes the event. This format has a history spanning over 35 editions. Prizes are awarded to the top three finishers in each competitive race, and all competitive finishers receive a memento.
