Foulées des rencontres brayonnes - Le Vaumain 2027

Foulées des Rencontres Brayonnes is a running and walking event in Le Vaumain, a village in the Oise department located in the Aunette valley. It welcomes runners and walkers of all ages and levels, offering children’s races, a walk, a general race, and a challenging 13 km competition. The first start is on Rue du Château in the afternoon, and the event typically attracts around 350 participants. The routes traverse the village and the surrounding hilly countryside. Walkers follow marked paths around Le Vaumain, younger runners use village streets, and the open race passes through Labosse before returning via the hamlet of La Fonderie. The 13 km race is the most demanding: runners go to Labosse, ascend Montcornet, return to Labosse, then tackle the long côte de la Fonderie toward Lincourt before coming back through Les Maisonnettes. Most participants are from Oise and nearby towns like Gournay-en-Bray, Forges-les-Eaux, and Gisors. The AIRB association organizes the event with support from local communes for safety and aid stations.
