Foulées du souvenir - Orbey 2026

Foulées du Souvenir is a commemorative trail race in Orbey, Alsace, centered on the Linge Memorial. Participants can select a 9.5 km route with 390 meters of elevation gain or a 27.8 km route with 1,260 meters of elevation gain; the shorter option presents a significant hill challenge. TeamCom organizes the event with support from Orbey Running Club. The longer race qualifies for the UTMB World Series and is an ITRA-sanctioned event. The courses traverse locations connected to the Battle of the Linge, a First World War battlefield. Both races conclude at the Linge Memorial Museum. The 9.5 km race begins at Col du Wettstein, and the 27.8 km race starts at the Salle Polyvalente in Orbey. A shuttle service will return participants from the finish to the respective start locations. Post-race amenities include access to physiotherapists and a locally sourced, homemade meal option for those who register for it.
