Foulées Roxédoises is a Saturday afternoon charity race held in Le Roc Saint-André, within Val d’Oust in Brittany. The primary running event covers 11.7 kilometers. Two walking routes, 9 and 13 kilometers long, begin earlier with a free departure format. Roc-loisirs is the organizing body, and proceeds benefit medical research for breast cancer, prostate cancer, and diabetes.
The running course departs the village into the countryside, then follows the towpath alongside the Canal de Nantes à Brest, shaded by plane trees. The walking routes traverse local woods and pass by La Ville Der castle, La Touche Carnet manor, and Brasserie Lancelot. The race has been held 35 times, with the walking routes marking their 23rd year. Following the finish, participants can enter a draw for 60 prizes, such as a mountain bike, a television, and gift certificates; however, winners must be present to claim their prizes. A take-away meal concludes the event.
