Foulées Solidaires - Talence is a morning relay event held at the Pierre-Paul Bernard stadium in Talence, organized by US Talence Athlétisme. Participants can run or walk in small relay teams of 2 to 4 people, rather than as solo racers. The event features races for children, young people, and adults, with the youngest participants starting at age 3.
The course is contained within the stadium, emphasizing shared participation over a lengthy route. Families, friends, colleagues, children, walkers, and runners are invited to the same solidarity day. All entry fees benefit the club's Adapted Physical Activity section, supporting nearly 100 individuals annually who are living with long-term illnesses such as cancer, cardiovascular disease, and diabetes. This APA program, overseen by a specialist teacher, helps patients maintain social connections, manage treatment side effects, and regain confidence in their physical abilities.
