Goat Trail is a spring Sunday trail-running event held in La Chapelle-Villars, within the Pilat massif, featuring routes designed around Mont Monnet. La Ptite Foulée organizes this race, now in its fifth year, offering two primary options: a 10 km trail with 300 m of elevation gain and a 20 km trail with 800 m of elevation gain.
The longer course takes participants up the slopes of Mont Monnet, while the shorter course provides a more accessible route over the same local terrain. The event attracts nearly 700 participants, with approximately 350 on the 20 km, 300 on the 10 km, and about a hundred walkers on a 15 km hike. Children's races are also held in the morning, making the day suitable for more than just adult trail runners. On-site registration is not available for the 10 km or 20 km events; participants must register in advance when entries open in mid-December.
