Golden Trail Saint-Roch is a trail-running weekend in Saint-Roch, in Indre-et-Loire, usually held in late October. The format is compact but busy: six races across two days, with two night races on Saturday evening and four races on Sunday morning. Runners can choose a long 40 km trail, a 24 km short trail, 13 km and 8 km short trail options, plus night races over 13 km and 8 km.
The courses use the paths around Saint-Roch rather than city streets. The 13 km night route is described as playful and rural, with two stream crossings and single-track sections, so headlamps and reflective clothing are required. TREK TOURS ENDURANCE organizes the event, and the site includes aid stations, showers, and changing rooms. The race also sits inside the departmental trail challenge, which gives local club runners and regular trail racers another reason to line up alongside runners choosing one of the shorter distances.
