Grand Raid Ventoux by UTMB® 2027

Grand Raid Ventoux by UTMB is a mountain trail running series held in Malaucène, Vaucluse, France. The core concept is straightforward: participants ascend around Mont Ventoux, the "Géant de Provence," a 1,912 m peak known for rapid weather shifts from sun to mistral winds. The event offers four distances: the 26 km Trail des Coteaux (1,100 m climb), the 51 km Mistral Marathon Trail (2,500 m), the 87 km Grande Epopée Ventoux (4,200 m), and the 125 km Ultra Géant de Provence (5,700 m). The routes traverse the slopes and paths surrounding Ventoux, differing from flat road races. Even the shorter distances involve significant climbing, and the longest is a true ultra-marathon in mountain terrain. As part of the UTMB World Series, the event attracts international runners, support staff, volunteers, and media to Malaucène. Ultra-trail runner Caroline Chaverot has competed here, indicating the challenging nature of the trails. Since 2016, a portion of each entry fee has supported the Œuvre des Pupilles Orphelins des Sapeurs Pompiers, aiding firefighter orphans.
