Gruissan Poli Trail 2026

Gruissan Poli Trail is a weekend trail-running event held in Gruissan, located in the Aude department of Occitanie in southern France. Participants enter the Massif de la Clape, with races ranging from short distances to a 50 km trail. The available options include 8 km, 10 km, 12 km, 18 km, 25 km, and 50 km races, alongside a 10 km hike and Nordic walking. It typically takes place in the winter, with the next edition scheduled for early December. The event began in 2005 as the Gruissan Phoebus Trail, established by local trail-running enthusiasts. It expanded from two races on a single day to six races over an entire weekend. Approximately 1,500 runners now participate in the weekend's events, with close to 2,000 finishers recorded in a recent edition. The courses traverse the local landscape of forests, vineyards, lakes, and ponds. The program also includes events for children and juniors, a relay race, and a women-only race. Specific named courses are La Ronde des Chevriers, a 12 km trail featuring 250 m of elevation gain, and Le Trailhounet, an 18 km route with 550 m of elevation gain.
