Hivernatrail 2026

Hivernatrail is a winter trail race held in Saint-Côme-et-Maruéjols, a small commune in the Gard department of Occitanie, located approximately ten minutes from Nîmes. It provides short-to-middle distance options, with courses set at 5 km, 12 km, 20 km, and 30 km, alongside a walking format. This setup accommodates runners seeking an accessible outing or a more challenging winter trail. The courses begin in Saint-Côme-et-Maruéjols and traverse natural terrain, including forest sections. The 30 km route involves an ascent of about 700 meters. A recent running of this distance saw 230 participants start and finish, with the winner completing the course in 2:24:02. The event is a consistent presence in the Gard running schedule, now in its 17th edition. It embraces its winter identity with the playful tagline: “Sors de ton hivernation and Côme-on !”
