L'Abrénaline is an 8 km corrida-style running event held in Les Abrets en Dauphiné, organized by Sport Lac Event. The adult race begins in the early evening, following bib pickup and children's races held earlier in the afternoon. Participants can complete the full distance individually, running four 2 km circuits, or form a four-person relay team, with each member running one circuit.
The circuit format facilitates friends, families, colleagues, and clubs in following the event and competing together through various means. A team challenge is also offered, based on the lowest combined times from the individual race. The event balances enjoyment with performance; costumes are encouraged, and awards are given for the most creative, humorous, and daring attire. Road traffic and parking arrangements are modified during the race while the streets are occupied.
