L'Anthychoise is a running and walking event held in mid-March in Anthy-sur-Léman, a village in Haute-Savoie located on the French shore of Lake Geneva. The event combines nature running, trail sections, road running, and brief urban stretches, offering race choices from 900 meters up to 21 kilometers. The primary distances typically feature 7 km, 14 km, and 21 km, though some listings also indicate a 9 km option and an 8 km walk.
The course incorporates the lake environment and adjacent paths instead of following a solely road-based circuit. Courant'hys is the organizing body. The event attracts a diverse range of participants: children have dedicated races, walkers are welcome, and the longer distances provide a more challenging objective for regular runners. The tenth edition saw over 650 participants attend, even with rainy conditions, and the shift to a Saturday afternoon timing was considered successful according to local reports.
