L'Epicurienne is a September trail-running series held in Castelnau-d'Estrétefonds, north of Toulouse near the Eurocentre exit. It offers runners three hilly trail options: La Gourmande (11 km with 260 m elevation gain), La Gastronome (16 km with 410 m gain), and L'Epicurienne (approximately 20-21 km with about 560 m gain). A timed 11 km route, L'Exquise, is available for walkers, and children can participate in the Epicurienne Kids event.
The races begin at the town's event hall, incorporating some paved sections initially before transitioning to forest paths, shaded woods, hills, and vineyard-side trails before the finish. Food distinguishes this event: aid stations feature local products, chef-prepared meals, and wine, differing from standard race fare. The event accommodates beginners, walkers, club runners, and experienced trail runners, while also supporting ARTHUR SANS GÈNE, a local association for a child with a rare GNAO1 gene mutation.
