La Belmontée de Feu is a semi-nocturnal trail race held between Fouday and Belmont in the Bruche valley of Bas-Rhin, France, in mid-November. The event offers three mountain routes on the same day: 16 km with 1,000 m of climb, 36 km with 2,000 m, and a 50 km route with 2,500 m.
The race begins at the hotel-restaurant Chez Julien, sending participants onto steep, technical terrain before finishing above 1,000 meters. Cold temperatures, snow, and squalls are common conditions, making the event suitable for experienced trail runners rather than casual joggers. It is organized by the Ski-club de Belmont, whose members have backgrounds in skiing, hiking, running, and mountain biking, and it also contributes to the UTMB Index.
