La Brayaude de l'Espoir begins at 9 AM in Saint-Bonnet-Près-Riom, a commune near Riom in central France. This is a running and walking event for charity, connected to International Rare Disease Day. Proceeds support families affected by the rare disease LHF and fund medical research. Participants can select a 5 km race, a timed 10 km, or a timed 15 km. Walkers have 5 km and 10 km routes available.
The 5 km route follows local paths around the commune, going by the small Sardon stream and through fields and vineyards. The event is organized by Artistes Sportifs de Coeur, LHF Espoir, VK Sports Evenement, and the Commune of Saint-Bonnet-Pres-Riom. Now in its second edition, the focus is on local involvement, accessible distances, and the fundraising goal for each race bib.
