La Chava'run - Chavanod 2027

La Chava’Run takes place in Chavanod, near Annecy, with all starts and finishes at the Salle polyvalente on route du Crêt d’Esty. La Ronde De Chavanod organizes the event, held in late March. The program includes two trail races, the 22 km ChavaXL and the 12 km ChaVirée, and two walking events: the 15 km ChavaNordique and the 9 km ChavaDécouverte. The walkers begin first, with the Nordic walk and discovery walk starting together before the trail races. GPX files are available for the main routes. Children can participate in the ChavaKid races, with short 400 m laps adjusted for age groups; registration for these races is on site. The organizers acknowledge volunteers, the Chavanod town hall, and local partners, highlighting the event's community-driven nature.
