La corrida de Chavanod 2026

La Corrida de Chavanod is a late-season running and walking event in Chavanod, Haute-Savoie, at the foot of the Bauges mountains. Organized by LRDC Chavanod, the day centers around the AFM Téléthon, functioning as a local charity gathering as much as a race. The main event is a 12 km run, open to solo runners and two-person relay teams, with a rolling course the organizers describe as accessible. A 10 km Nordic Corrida is available for sporty walkers, and a 900 m Relais des familles offers a short family relay for various ages. Starting and finishing at the Salle polyvalente in Chavanod, the event has a village-hall atmosphere.
