La Corrida internationale de Magné is a 10 km end-of-year road race held in Magné, starting at Place de l’église Sainte Catherine. The field is unusually mixed: costumed runners participate alongside one-day entrants and high-level international athletes, meaning the race's front and the pack's festivities occur within the same event. Approximately 1,500 runners participate annually, and French race listings rank it among the country's largest corridas and Poitou-Charentes' biggest races by turnout.
The route combines town streets with countryside sections surrounding Magné. Past participants note the practical benefit of the crowd: a nearby runner is almost always present, preventing the race from feeling solitary even for casual participants. Costumes are more than just for show; the event features challenges and awards for costumed runners, adding a distinct competition to the day alongside the 10 km race itself. Magné Sports organizes the event, and its numerous past editions establish it as a local fixture rather than a singular holiday run.
