La Courstache Montluçon is a charity run and walk in the Montluçon area, starting from Prémilhat on a Sunday in November. It focuses on men’s cancer awareness and fundraising, offering a 5 km untimed run and 8 km and 13 km walking routes on public roads that are closed or partly closed for the event.
The Montluçon edition is organized by ASPTT Montluçon Omnisports, expecting over 400 participants and around 90 volunteers. A mustache is part of the day: runners and walkers are invited to arrive with their own or use the makeup areas on site. All registration money goes to research, awareness, or prevention. The wider La Courstache concept originated with ASPTT Clermont-Ferrand after organizers noted a lack of local sports events addressing cancers like prostate and testicular cancer.
