La Croizet des Chemins is a village trail race held in Croizet-sur-Gand, located in the Loire department of France, typically in late March. Organized by the festival committee with local volunteers, it offers runners three distance options: 8 km, 15 km, or 20 km. The inaugural event attracted 235 participants, establishing it as a community-focused race rather than a large commercial undertaking.
The courses are designed to showcase the landscape surrounding Croizet-sur-Gand, featuring sections along the Rémi Janin footbridge and past the Château de l’Aubépin, alongside expansive views of the countryside. The race also benefits Les Cerisiers, an organization supporting young people with disabilities, and notably, one runner completed the course with a Joëlette. Following the race, participants convene in the covered boulodrome for refreshments featuring local produce.
