La dame blanche - Châtillon-le-Duc 2027

La Dame Blanche is a spring mountain-bike and walking event held at Centre Bellevue in Châtillon-le-Duc, near Besançon. Organized by AC 2000, it is part of the Grand Besançon Métropole's Grandes Heures Nature calendar. Participants can select from three VTT routes of approximately 15-20 km, 35 km, or 50 km, alongside 8 km and 12 km walking options. This event marks one of the earliest VTT and pedestrian activities on the local spring schedule, attracting those seeking an early-season ride or walk instead of a formal road race. The routes wind through wooded areas around Châtillon-le-Duc. The mountain-bike courses incorporate the climb near Fort de la Dame Blanche and the Chailluz forest. The shortest VTT route measures 15 km with 361 m of elevation gain, while the 35 km route involves 672 m of climbing, indicating significant hills even on the intermediate distance. La Dame Blanche has been held for over 30 editions, with AC 2000 managing all organization since 2015. One euro from each entry is donated to the RÊVES d’enfants association, adding a charitable element to this local club event focused on cycling, walking, forest trails, and the hills north of Besançon.
