La Diagonale du Four is a spring trail and nature-running event in Porspoder, a coastal commune in Finistère, Brittany. Runners choose between 10 km, 18 km, and 33 km routes. The longest race has about 200 meters of climbing, focusing on coastal paths and local footpaths rather than mountain-style elevation. The event also includes three children’s races and a 10 km walk, making it a community race day.
The routes use the sentier littoral and the commune’s walking paths, moving between the shore and inland tracks around Porspoder. The 33 km race starts and finishes at the Salle omnisports de Porspoder, with entries for that distance capped at 700. An earlier edition drew 500 runners across the 10 km and 18 km races, and feedback singled out the land-and-sea course as the most liked aspect. The race is organized by APE du Spernoc de Porspoder, with profits funding activities at the Spernoc public school.
