La Draille de Mourre Poussiou is a trail running event in Fos-sur-Mer, located in the Bouches-du-Rhône department of southern France. It typically takes place in mid-April, featuring two main distances for discovery trails: 8 km and 14 km. The 8 km race includes approximately 90 meters of elevation gain, and the 14 km route has about 190 meters, positioning both as more accessible trail runs compared to mountain ultras.
The courses traverse a natural, rural landscape surrounding Fos-sur-Mer, incorporating lakes and ponds into the event's setting. Fos Olympique Club is the organizer, and the program also features children’s and junior races with very short distances like 300 meters, 1 km, and 1.5 km. This combination of short trail formats, moderate elevation, and youth races establishes it as a local event suitable for beginners, regular runners, and families, rather than a specialized competition solely for seasoned trail runners.
