La Flesselloise is a 10 km road race held in Flesselles, a village in the Somme department of Hauts-de-France. It takes place in winter, starting and finishing at the Salle des Sports on Rue de Saint Vast. With an entry limit of 500 participants, it is a local event rather than a large-scale city race. The race is also part of the Courses 80 challenge, earning it a spot on the Somme running schedule.
The process is simple: register online via Klikego, pick up your bib at the sports hall, and then run the 10 km course starting from the same location. Prizes are awarded to the top three men and women. A bib draw, featuring several prizes including a top prize for an attendee, contributes to the local club atmosphere. Participants receive gâteau battu, a rich regional beaten cake, and the post-race pot de l'amitié offers a communal drink. A food truck, Mes 10 coups de fourchette, will be on-site.
