La Foulée Charlevalaise takes place in late October in Charleval, Eure department, Normandy. This local event features several short road and forest races rather than a single main event. Recent programs have offered distances from 400 m and 800 m for younger runners, alongside options of 5.8 km, 9.1 km, 5 km, and 10 km. The last edition saw over 100 participants, giving it a community feel.
The course winds through the alleys and forest paths of the Forêt de Lyons. Runners can expect autumn leaves and potentially wet ground, particularly on the path near elevation point 116. This race traditionally opens its challenge series and is organized by the Amicale des Coureurs de l'Andelle, the same group that manages the series. Entry fees are modest, children's races are included, and proceeds support the challenge's awards ceremony, with prizes for the top three in each category.
