La Foulée Croisienne is a nature trail race held in La Croix-Valmer, located in the Var region of the French Riviera. Typically occurring in mid-February, it offers participants two distance options: a 12 km trail featuring approximately 330 to 336 meters of elevation gain, or a 21 km route with around 760 to 761 meters of climbing. This event, organized by the Sports Department of La Croix-Valmer, boasts a long tradition, having completed over three dozen editions.
Both courses primarily traverse La Croix-Valmer, with brief extensions into Gassin, Cogolin, and Cavalaire-sur-Mer. The race commences in front of the town hall, proceeding through areas like Le Graffonier, Bagueirede, and the Hauts de Peinier, before returning via Les Rochers Blancs and the reservoirs. The finish line is situated before the elementary school, meaning the race starts and concludes within the village itself, not at a distant trailhead.
