La Foulée Des Ducs - La Clayette 2027

La Foulée des Ducs is a trail-running series in France's Brionnais region. Races begin at Le Sordet and conclude at the Château de la Clayette. Participants can select from 13 km, 28 km, or 45 km distances, with an additional 45 km relay option for teams. The event incorporates local cuisine alongside the running, featuring a gourmet walk that parallels the race distances. The course follows hilly paths, not roads, with 60% of the terrain designated as paths and no road sections. It winds through forests, villages, and illuminated castles before its finish at the château, closely connecting the route to the area's heritage. The race holds an ITRA Mountain Level 2 rating, a Finisher level of 350, and is a component of the National League.
