La Jaux-viale begins at Place du 14 Juillet in Jaux, a village in northern France, and takes place in spring. It is a local nature race organized by Les Jaux-Viaux, offering adult races over 9 km and a 5 km distance, along with children’s races on the same morning.
The courses include some climbing: 120 m of gain on the 5 km and 160 m on the 9 km. The children’s options range from 400 m to 2.5 km, with low entry fees. The event raises money for school trips and supplies for children at the commune’s school. The race was previously supported by the Jaux school parents’ association before Les Jaux-Viaux took over its organization.
