La Landasienne d'Octobre Rose is a breast-cancer research charity race held in Landas, a village in the Nord department of Hauts-de-France, located about 30 kilometers from Lille. It takes place during Octobre Rose, the French breast-cancer awareness month. The event provides accessible options: adult road races of 5 km and 10 km, children's races of 800 m and 1500 m, and walking routes of 5, 12, and 17 km.
The course is a single loop on country roads, featuring a refreshment stop at 5 km and music along the route, with a musical group positioned around the 4 km mark. ECLA organizes the event, with a portion of each entry fee donated to the Ligue contre le Cancer. The participants include club runners, casual runners, walkers, children, and beginners. Pace setters are available, but the focus is more on supporting the cause than on competitive times. The race has been conducted annually since 2015.
