La Marche en Fête - Colmar 2026

La Marche en Fête in Colmar is a short urban walking challenge starting at Place Rapp and Parc du Champ de Mars. It offers a 3 km option and takes place in early October. This is not a standard running race; the challenge begins at 3 km/h, with the pace increasing by 0.5 km/h every 1 minute and 12 seconds, directed by a programmed beeper. The format was created by FFA experts, and participants get a digital diploma detailing their result. Colmar is one of six cities hosting the event simultaneously, including Clermont-Ferrand, Salon-de-Provence, Paris, Toulouse, and Valenciennes. Following the walking challenge, the Colmar setting provides opportunities for further exploration, with paths along the Lauch river in the area known as Little Venice.
