La Mirabal is a running and walking event held at Parc du Tremblay in Champigny-sur-Marne. It typically takes place on the last Sunday of November, coinciding with the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. Tremplin 94 Solidarité Femmes organizes the event, with assistance from the Val-de-Marne Departmental Council. The event includes 5 km and 10 km races, as well as races for youth and children, and a walk for all participants.
The day combines athletic activity with a civic mission: to raise awareness about violence against women and to promote equality between women and men. An information and awareness village operates concurrently with the races, and the emergency number 3919 is promoted for those seeking help or guidance. The event aims to unite a diverse group, including women, men, young people, children, regular runners, beginners, walkers, associations, institutions, local authorities, and businesses, all in support of the same cause.
