La Noctambule de Grosbois begins and ends before the château at dusk; all participants, runners or walkers, must carry a headlamp or other light. This night event, held near Ormesson-sur-Marne within the Domaine de Grosbois, provides walking options from 5 to 11 km and trail runs from 11 to 21 km. The 11 km walk remains within the estate grounds, utilizing trotter training areas. The 11 km trail largely follows the same, mostly flat route across paths and sandy terrain. The 21 km trail incorporates the Notre-Dame forest, featuring damp paths, sandy stretches, and requiring self-sufficiency from runners.
