La Nordique Aixoise 2027

La Nordique Aixoise is a Nordic walking event held in Aix-en-Provence, starting at Parc de la Torse in the Bouches-du-Rhône department. Organized by Aix Athlé Provence each January, it features a 10.6 km regional-label competition walk sanctioned by the FFA, alongside a shorter leisure walk designed for pairs. The primary race separates women's and men's starts, whereas the open duo walk employs a relay format; partners must finish together to be officially ranked. The competition course consists of three laps and functions as a championship event for both the Bouches-du-Rhône departmental and Région Sud regional levels. It also contributes points to the PACA Nordic Walking Challenge and offers a pathway for athletes to qualify for the French Championships. Consequently, the event attracts licensed walkers aiming for competitive results, as well as non-licensed participants who submit the necessary FFA health questionnaire. The leisure duo walk spans approximately 7.1 km over two laps, providing a less formal alternative to the main championship program.
