La Piste du Napatant is a 13.2 km nature race held in Val de Briey, Meurthe-et-Moselle, France's Grand Est region, on the second Sunday of March. Organized by Briey Marathon, it begins at the Salle des sports Jean Petit on avenue Albert de Briey, serving as an early-season event for local participants. The main race commences at 10:00 AM with a limit of 1,300 entries; each finisher receives a T-shirt. The same morning also features an 11 km sport walk and two free children's races covering 3 km and 1 km.
The course combines road segments with forest trails, offering a mix that is neither purely urban nor a full trail run. Over 1,200 runners participate annually, creating a busy club-race atmosphere without the scale of a major city event. The race originated in 1993 when a group of friends established it, and it has remained a consistent fixture on the running calendar. Bib collection is available at the sports hall the day prior and on Sunday morning, maintaining a central, convenient location for the event.
