La Ronde de Noël is a December road race held in the center of Rodez, France. Santa starts the runners at 10:30 in the morning. The main race options are 4 km and 8 km, alongside a 2 x 4 km relay, an 8 km handisport race named the Ronde des Joëlettes, children's races, and a non-timed walk of approximately 10 km. It is a Christmas race in a very literal sense: runners are encouraged to wear Santa hats, costumes are part of the enjoyment, and the best Christmas outfit receives a prize.
Stade Rodez Athlétisme designs the city-center course, which includes stairs, climbs, and decorated school corridors to enhance the holiday atmosphere. The event concludes with a free raffle and a shared beer for adults. Each bib purchase contributes one euro to the charities PEP12 and KAT6France - Les Mots d'Emma. The event attracts a broad range of participants, including runners, relay teams, handisport athletes, walkers, children, and locals in costume, all sharing the same Christmas-morning atmosphere.
