La Saint Ju'Trail is an April trail-running event in Saint-Julien, a village in France’s Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. It is run in the Beaujolais, so the race uses vineyard country: grapes, wine villages, wooded hills, and off-road paths define the setting. The organizing club, Les Raisins du Trail, is based in Saint-Julien and builds the event around friendly racing rather than a hard-edged ultra-only feel. Runners can choose from short and long options, with listed distances from 660 m up to 68 km, plus Nordic walking and children’s and junior races.
The courses use vineyard tracks, natural paths, and forest sections around Saint-Julien, with formats for solo runners, pairs, and teams of four. The 39 km race is the most competitive option: it carries a UTMB Index listing, climbs about 1,900 meters, and has drawn more than 200 finishers. The wider event is also meant for families and local club runners, with a festive mood and enough distance choices for first-timers, walkers, juniors, and experienced trail runners to share the same race weekend.
