At La Santenoise, each kilometre run donates 1 euro to cancer research. This October charity race and walk takes place in Santeny, Val-de-Marne, supporting the League Against Cancer and highlighting Pink October and breast cancer awareness. Participants can choose from three road running distances—5 km, 11 km, and 20 km—or a 5 km walk, catering to beginners, regular runners, walkers, and those primarily motivated by supporting the cause.
The routes commence and conclude within the Forest of Notre-Dame, specifically at Voie aux Vaches on the 4 Saules site. The 5 km race is accessible to participants aged 12 and above, while the 11 km and 20 km races offer greater challenges for more experienced runners. The event schedule includes a group warm-up accompanied by music, staggered race starts from 9:30 AM, optional costumes for participants, awareness booths, osteopathy services, food trucks, and an Apé’Rose. The fourth edition saw over 350 participants, and the race is organized in conjunction with the Departmental Council of Val-de-Marne.
