Labatut Trail is a nature race based in Labatut, in Ariège, usually run in early March. The main trail is about 25 km with roughly 800 m of climbing, and the event also offers shorter options, including a 10 km route with about 200 m of climbing, a 15 km trail, relay formats, and a walking option.
The routes use marked GR paths, dirt tracks, forest trails, and a few small-road sections around Labatut, Canté, Lissac, and Saint-Quirc in the Basse Ariège. It suits runners who want a local trail race with real climbing but not an ultra-distance day, while the shorter race and walk make room for less experienced participants. Serge Dejean and Cécile Blanc are linked with the race organization, and earlier editions mention refreshed course design and extra attention to race-day support.
