Launagu'etoile is a running and walking event held in early December in Launaguet, a town in Haute-Garonne near Toulouse. The primary events are 6 km and 12 km road races. The 12 km race begins in the morning, followed shortly by the 6 km race. The program also includes a 12 km Nordic walk and a 6 km non-timed walk, catering to both competitive runners and those who prefer to walk.
The 12 km race follows a single loop course. The previous edition saw over 600 participants in total, and the 6 km race has attracted more than 300 entrants in past years. COURIR POUR EUX organizes the event, which supports a charitable cause, contributing to a community atmosphere alongside the competition. Race results are available for past editions, showing a progression from older 5 km and 10 km formats to the current 6 km and 12 km distances.
