Le Castor Garou is a 17 km night trail race held in Vauhallan, Essonne, southwest of Paris in Île-de-France. It takes place in early December, meaning runners begin after sunset and complete the course using headlamps.
The route crosses natural terrain and woodland. The 17 km trail is the primary and most frequented choice. The prior edition attracted over 300 participants, positioning it as a local trail event rather than a large urban race.
